Greetings!

Just became an owner of a 1980 300SD. With the engine off the auto lock feature will not work. Also have not been able to lock the trunk with the key. Once the engine has been started the locks work, but it seems real slow to me.

I was trying to test the blue check valve in the engine compartment. The air only goes one way, like it should. My question though, is that to get the air to go through the valve you have to blow real real hard. Is this normal? It would seem to explain things if not..
