-Does any1 know if and when the W220 S-Class got its Inline 6 Cyl. CDi updated to a V6 CDi (S320 CDi) for the UK market??
before the latest gen S-Class came out??

I beleive the last Inline 6 Cyl Diesel was the E300 TD (IDI) and that the 3.2 CDI's were V6's.

There were only 220.025, 220.026, 220.125 and 220.125 models for the W220 body, these are different versions of the I6. Then of course the V8 but that was not the question here.

Its just i read in Top Gear (UK) -i think, that the 204 ps I6 CDi was updated for a 224 ps V6 CDi, as this had been done in the E,C - Class at the same time, just before the W220 S Class (bout '05) went outa production but it seems not.
