Unhappy Charging Circuit Nightmare...I am lost

My 1983 300SD Battle Assault Tank is sick.
  • New 65 Amp Alternator
  • Continuity is good from the fender well block to the plug on the alternator
  • Block on passenger side fender well has battery voltage on 2 reds and the blue wire.
  • System will not charge.

Strange thing is, when it will start and charge I get the voltage and break wear warning lights on the dash lit up prior to starting. I am 100% sure that when the lights don't come on with the key nothing is going to happen.

All fuses and relays appear to be in working order.

Where am I going wrong here? I have thinning hair and pulling it out is doing nothing for my looks :-)

I have tried to do as much homework as I can. I have the Charging System diagram from AllData and whatever source a mechanic friend of mine has...Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Joe
