Blue smoke and rough run

97 E300D starts and runs perfectly when cold, after running 5 minutes there will be a short power burst, blue smoke will begin at the tail pipe and running will roughen. Smoke and rough running are then present more than not, although may run for 75 miles normally and cleanly. At times the blue smoke is massive. Burns no oil, oil is not being thinned by fuel.

EGR system and CCV have been checked and serviced, all fuel lines and return lines replaced, return lines had to be spring clamped to prevent leakage, pressure too high indicating restriction? No air in system, EGR and CCV have also been disabled with no positve change in symptoms. Injectors have been checked, twice, and declared "no problem" by two different diesel shops. Dealer has checked the car and said that it had no codes, their suggestion was to do compression check. Seems not to be indicated due to proper starting, good cold running, intermitant nature and lack of oil consumption.

My simple scan tool indicates a P0200 code, which I understand is a general fuel circuit code.

Suggestions? Thanks

Who is going to stick their neck out on this one

Does the smoke occur under heavy load, light load or no throttle?
Try temporarily re-routing return lines to atmosphere.?
Is it a fuel pump timing problem ?
Exhaust or air inlet restriction ?

Bring on the diesel experts !!

That code is an Injector Circuit Malfunction which seems strange for a diesel.

Check it with a friends scanner if you can and see if it pulls up a different code.

If it doesn't....have you had any electrical gliches lately? Shutdown while driving? Losing dash lights or no ignition? Delayed shutdown?
