R-Klasse, Bluetec R 320 CDI

Hi, I have bought in March 2010 a brand new R-Klasse Bluetec R-320 CDI and I have experienced over the last couple of weeks ( I did 22.000 km in the last 8 weeks) that almost everyday, why I was driving on the Autobahn, I got the feeling of a less powerful motor. At around 120km sometimes it feels like that there is no real torque anymore, no real acceleration. As most of you know we can (thanks Good!) drive here in germany (most likley) as fast as we want, so at around 160miles/h, the car is slowing down on performance and comes than all over the sudden back to power. The local mercedes garage can indeed not found anything, I have had meantime a lot of different passengers on board and they felt exactly the same like me. I heard that Mercedes had earlier (2007) problems with the transmission flare. Maybe one of you professionals knows more about and have some helpful advice for me?

Thanks a lot and my best greetings from good old germany.

Best regards

Lars

Hello Lars,

You no doubt have heard that MB has had a lot of troubles with fuel injectors failing in their new deisel engines. .

Keep taking it back to the dealer until they rectify the problem.

Good luck & let us know of the outcome.
