I have a chance to buy a very clean looking 1975 240D. The speedometer said 62k miles, white exterior and red interior. Are there any special area that I need to look for? What would be a good offer for such car? No rust on the body at all. Engine run, drive a little rough. Thanks in advance.

The only real issue with a car of that age is parts availability. Being a diesel, at 62k miles, it is probably not fully broken in. Fuel pump, glow plugs, injectors will likely need some love and attention, but, I worked with a guy that has a '78 and it is just rock solid.

Yes far far away!!!!
But before you do can you tell me where its at?

Well its sounds like a good car that needs a little TLC, as far as driving a little rough look at the tires from a car that old with the few miles it has the tires are most likely bad.
I picked up a old VW years ago and I thought the front end was going to fall out and by just looking I could not tell it was bad tires replaced the tires and it was great.
Look at the front end parts first.

My family had one back in the day. It saved my dad's life according to his surgeons. Great cars!
