CDI 250 D.P.F. Problem after 4000 miles

Hi guys, im new to MB World.

I purchased a CDI 250 in November 2010, after doing 4000 the EML light came on and car went into limp home mode, only allowing 1500 revs in each auto gear.

After calling Merc Aid, the technician cleared the computer and told me to drive for 30mins above 50 mph, that would auto clear the DPF.
I did that and it did clear the problem while the tech guy was with me, but after waking up this morning the day after the Merc Aid tech guy, the problem is back....

Anyone got any ideas? Seems strange to get it after 4000 miles from new, is it a take back to dealer job? Anyone else been successful with driving the car to regen the DPF?

Thanks in advance>>>

Where are you located? There is no 250 CDi in north America.
If you are in Europe it is definitely a warranty job.
