Using Autologic or SDS to tune EGR settings on a bluetec

So I have access to these tools and know of a way to switch VW TDI diesel's EGRs to "Off road" which effectively lowers the EGR's interference and returns better performance and fuel economy.

Is this possible on (non-urea) Bluetecs?
