e 300 d
injector Question
HI all
I just bought a 1992 e300 2.5 turbo diesel with 199000 miles. the engine runs well, but makes a loud clanking kind of sound. i took the car to a shop, they replaced all but one of the injectors which they said was not the same as the others. the shop said it was in there to" compensate for something" has anyone heard of doing this before? i think someone put in the wrong injector. what do you guys think?
