I didn't have this:
Assenmacher Specialty Tools Oil Filter Housing Cup Wrench for Mercedes
As a result it took me over 15 minutes to find a good enough grip to take the filter cap off.
MANN = Mercedes Benz so just buy MANN products save some $$
