Where to get parts for 05 E320 CDI

I just broke down an I6 CDI. It needs the cylinders bored .50mm. The pistons are $300 each. I need two rods. $220 each. Plus all of the gaskets and parts to put it back together. Also I have one bad injector.

I would like to make it into a monster motor with 350 hp and 650 ft torq. But do I have to get custom made parts to do that and is it going to cost $10k?

I saw a long block shipped for $3000 if I did that I could get it running next week and have spare parts. If I look for parts for a week and then order parts and put it back together then put it in the car it will take a lot longer.

I can get custom made titanium rods and billit steel pistons. For about $6000. I can get a whole used motor for the same price.

Can I buy German parts and have them shipped to the US.
What do you guys think.

There are not many after market parts for this engine, not even forget pistons. Engine is capable of those HP numbers even in stock form w/turbo, inter cooler and injectors upgrade plus software flash. It is up to you how much money ant time you are willing to put in it. You can also buy engine from Germany, but you will have to pay duty taxes based on the price they put on the shipping documents. Shipping will be expensive too.
Check this site you may find engine.

What happened to your motor? Did you also check the turbo for damage?

If it's being bored that much - sounds like a ring issue or was run dry for some reason.

Biggest issue I ran into was the turbo upgrade. The ECU runs the wastegate/BOV and putting manual versions would be an issue.

Yes, you have to have VNT turbo or good programmer to erase VNT control, which will make it slow to react.
