So I'm a new owner of a 81 240d 507,xxx miles 4speed
I've got I few questions about it. My blinkers and instrument panel lights don't work? Valve adjusting? Sounds like ones rattling?

Out Of Control!!
Wada car, if this is your first diesel, the wonderful rattling noise you hear is the injector pump opening and closing---just doing it's work-----when it stops then you have problems.
Be patient, use the web as a source for the purchase of manuals and documentation for your diesel.
When you really get in a jam use the free subscription to MB EPC and the for fee MB WIS website!!
