Ignition makes buzzing noise
Hey I have a mercades 300cd. it woln't start on it's own. If get a jump start it will work. At first I thought it wad the alternator but the lights still work fine. when I go to start it I hear a buzzing noise comeing under the hood. Bad glow cylander possably? anyone have a solution?

Is it turning over? Ie, cranking but not firing?
Not likely a glow plug - even if they're burnt out the engine will still start if the ambient temperature is above freezing.
Maybe your starter solenoid is sticking? Can you pinpoint where the buzz is coming from? May post some video?
