Would I be correct in saying that without star that the final injector flow
adjustment can not be done ?. Pity they cannot come pre- set ?.

From what I'm to understand, it doesn't make a significant difference if you program the code in there or not. It basically adjusts according to the individual injector's deviation from nominal specs, despite being in tolerance. These injectors are extremely high precision devices - that's why they're so expensive.
I heard many people say they don't bother reprogramming, and have observed no difference. I haven't heard of anyone encountering issues.

I was going to replace my injector seal today, but I couldn't find any ceramic grease, only ceramic brake lubricant, and I wasn't too comfortable with using that - it might actually be the same thing but I'm not going to risk it.
Anyway, I ordered some Febi 26712 today, so maybe I'll tackle it next weekend.
I've already got a replacement injector if needed, and replacement seals and screws.

My local dealer's service and parts departments aren't open on weekends. Yes, really!
So, because I wasn't going to have time to do it until next weekend, it was more convenient to order online. And cheaper also.
