w638 problems and questions
i have a mb vito 1998 been driving it for 3-4 years now
i wonder why my "mechanic" diesel pump have a TPS is that for the automatic gearbox ?
how should it be adjusted?
tried to adjust it so when it was on idle the tps was set with some small play on the tps wire.
and after that it switched gear way to early now i have adjusted it back to the previous possition but some times at low speed something happens in the gearbox i get cold sweated and think the engine is going to tear loose and end up under the car every time it happens.
it happens when tps is adjusted as it was when i bought the car but not when it changes gear like a piece of ****.
i changed gearbox 2 years ago both boxes behaved same so i suppose it has something to do with the tps adjustment
then I have problems with the "K" value is too high. i know the egr and catalysator is removed by previous owner but it has been ok for 3 years now. but this year it wouldnt get down to approved value even if the surveyor wanted it down
what could i do about that?
