vito 2008 115cdi engine swap
So i need an engine swap. Engine is running on 3 cilinders. Pushed 2 liters of oil out of the level stick. And it happens on iddle running after 5minutes, it suddenly started to shake..
So what caused this. leaking injector?? Piston rings??
So i just dismount engine out of car.
Somebody has some info for the timing chain replacement or head mounting?
Its my first benz work, normally i am a vag man..
So today i am opening engine. Every info is very welcome.
Tips, tricks, pictures, know hows?? any info is welcome.
Thanks in advance.

My first car, a 1951 Wolseley 6/80 had 70 PSI oil pressure which caused oil to be forced out of the tappet cover breather into the oil bath air cleaner which then overflowed into the carburetters causing a very grey plume!. On pull down I found most of the piston rings in pieces in the sump.
I ended up using 4 1/2 gallons of engine oil in 600 miles before using catch cans . Fumes inside the cab were so bad that windows had to be down at all times. The starter motor could not turn the engine over fast enough for it to start with the low compression so it always had to be left on a hill.
A second hand engine for 15 pounds sorted the problem. I put it in without a chain block ,just hemp ropes over a pole , at 17 years of age. Such was the eagerness to be mobile.
Good luck with your problem.
