How to make power out of a OM617?

How to make power out of a OM617?
Hi, I'm new here. I'm wanting to swap a OM617 into a Jeep YJ Wrangler, Jeep XJ Cherokee, or maybe a Jeep ZJ Grand Cherokee. Anyways, how do you make power out of a OM617? I'm wanting 400-500 Horsepower and a lot of Torque. Can they handle that much?

you can double the output,but it is costly.You could rig thou propane injection to come on at full pedal.I did it with mine,you need tank,regulator for 5 psi,a hobbs switch, ect...
A modified 617 set the road speed record in its day.

Yes I believe thats a inline 6 cylinder diesel in it.They can be modded to a 1000hp,I don't know which one, and somthing like 1500 t.ft.lbs
