OM642 Turbo Air pipe question. Fuel filter change related.
Hi All,
Im planning to change fuel filter on my W166 ML350BT, OM642 engine.
Looking on the amount of work and I notice turbo air pipe has some strange addition and its right above the filter, picture 1
I looked on-line and found the same engine but pipe looks different picture 2

Can someone explain to me why are they different and how does it look in yours?
It would be much easier to change fuel filter if pipe wasn't covering it.
