300 TD
Motor oil for 300TD
Just acquired a 1985 300TD with 110K miles here in southern CA. When oil change is due, what would be suggested for type of oil, and thank you.

I always used the Rotella 15w40 diesel oil from Wal-Mart. If you choose to use synthetic you will discover every oil leak that old engine has.

In my 1994 diesel Peugeot I used BP Global 15w40 for its 350,000 km life with us. It is a semi synthetic oil.
