2005 E320 CDI,
Will new rims fit

Just got my first Benz, an 05 E320 CDI with 8J x 16 ET 36 rims with 225/55 R16 tires.
Looking at purchasing some used rims and tires from an 06 E500
with either the 8J x 17 or 8.5J x 17 (not sure which they are, since I haven't seen them yet)
ET 38 with 245/45/ R17 will fit my 05 CDI?
Anyone in Benzworld that have done this switch as well?
Just worried about clearance to fender and suspension on front. I believe the rear should fit with no issues.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

2005 E320 CDI,
Thanks Isstay, I like those rims. Not too practical since you are in the US and I'm in the great white north, (Ontario).
Thanks for the info, the set Im getting are the 17"'s that look almost identical to the OEM 16".
