looking for diesel shop in northeast
Anyone know of a good independent diesel shop? Or a mechanic that works out of there garage. I have a 06 e320 cdi and looking for a place to do general maintenance and repairs when needed. I'm in CT but willing to drive a good distance for someone that knows these cars/engines.

Fairfield Motorworks in Fairfield is one. Chris is the owner and a Mercedes master mechanic. Had him quote a job and was very reasonable. Knows OM642 motors and older.
Another shop is CIM Motorsports near Woodbury Commons NY. Irek is owner's name.

I think you should look into the Boston area.
