adblue pump killer!
Hey guys. I have just changed my fifth adblue pump on my 09 GL320. Why is my truck eating pumps? At 500$ a pop, this is ridiculous.
I did change the line just in case. It's brand new.
Tank is perfectly clean.
Thanks everyone

I can't really answer the question directly about going through five pumps but have you been extracting the old Adblue fluid and replenishing it every two years like MB recommends?
If not maybe it's crystallizing in the tank, pump, or lines. Just a thought.

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you too just a thoughts:
Pump is electric, maybe voltage is wrong and not grounded properly.
Second thought will be overheating.
And the last, check the AdBlue ISO standard make sure you have approved one. I buy mine from VW dealer.

Thanks for checking in DanD.
I checked voltage; its good. I get my fluid from Canadian tire here, it works on my R with no trouble.
Another Mercedes mystery. I have to buy a new pump every time I need an emissions test. Yeesh. Check engine light is always on because of this .
