Regen should kick in and complete in a 30 mile journey if its ion town as I assume is more than a 20 minute drive. Going for a 20 minute blast every 3-400 miles will also do it for you.

I'm going to guess it's this one. One of it's tasks: Diesel particulate service including forced regeneration. Walmart sells for $229 Amazon $249. https://www.autel.com/autelcms/Profe...ools/559.jhtml

It's not available to me right now but yes, just search for one with a DPF feature then ensure it works for MB. The one in the link gkgeiger looks a bit different physically but it could be the newest model. I do recall paying that price because on Prime day on amazon I saw it for $150. You might as well make sure it has the feature to retract the rear brakes too.
Mine works for multiple car brands for example my friends Cadillac EXT had a check engine issue. It gave the part name and the price of the part. I didn't even know that was a feature.
Also, I'm not promoting this brand. I think the DPF instructions could be more clear. An add in "the Star" the MB Club of Americas magazine there is an add for the Schwaben Pro for MB (sold by pelican parts.com) too but I am not sure of the features.

Anybody with experience of doing regeneration with Autotel?
I used iCarsoft MBII and it eventually did the job, but it is like working blindfolded.
The scanner calls for low speeds and high rpm, when my W212 will reset manual shifting every few seconds, so it is quite a task. Than it is not giving any progress information, while I was getting information that regeneration was completed in just few minutes, what conflicts with other experience talking about 1/2 hr.
I wonder if Autotel is better?

Enter “dyno mode” through steering wheel buttons...you can pick and hold gears ALMOST like a manual. My w211 definitely has this feature though no DPF, and mine no catalyzer or mufflers even for that matter, icarsoft definitely has a DPF section I’ve just never needed to use it on my Sprinter or w211
