A200 CDI 2.1 startup issue
Hi Guys, unsure if this is the correct place to post. I have bought a w176 a class 2015 model. It is the om651 2.1cdi engine and 7g auto. Recently on startup it judders and shakes for a few seconds before firing but stalled on startup this morning. It has just had full service and runs perfectly otherwise. I cannot find anyone else with this issue any help will be appreciated.

How many miles on the injectors?
If you turn the key to the on position and wait until the count of 10 does it start faster?
Do you have a scantool that reads MB codes or fuel pressure?

There is 78K Miles on the car and nothing has ever been changed except consumables. I leave approx 10-15 seconds after key turned to ignition, press firmly on brake and turn, the engine shakes very eratically and sometimes stalls. It dosent always have the issue starting.

It dosent always have this issue starting it probably does this 1 in 20 startups and no trend with temperature outside or within the engine it is random. I dont currently have a scantool. At 1 below it fired up very quickly this morning where it has stalled on startup at weather conditions of 30°c+ hence why I am confused with the issue

Hmm, Well to start there are only fuel and glow plugs. Ideally you don't want to go just randomly changing parts.
Its possible there are codes even though there isnt a check engine light. A good tool is worth investing in.
Last time my car was hard to start with no check engine light. I had a fuel leak, but I suppose you could see and smell that.
