08 GL320 cdi Loss of power and acceleration
Hello, my gl320 has lost power at least half of the time I drive it. I had it checked by my mechanic, and he said the exhaust sensor is bad and is causing it to lose power and acceleration. I am having trouble locating the right part, as I'm not sure it is the back pressure sensor or something else and need some guidance in replacing it. I'd like to do it myself to save some cash, and the only local mechanic who can work on Mercedes is very limited on his hours and had a long wait time. Any help would be appreciated.

The mileage is about 100,000. I have not replaced any filters. It was the exhaust back pressure filter. I got it for about $70 on Amazon from Mercedes Benz. I had to replace the hose clamps, but replaced it in about a half hour. It fixed it with no problem. A very easy fix for someone with very little experience.
