Bluetec Noise under full acceleration help
Sorry to bother everyone... test drove an 09 ml320 bluetec today, everything is in great condition, perfect service history, etc... one thing I noticed however is that under full acceleration, I heard what sounded like a vacuum type noise coming from the driver footwell area, only happened when the engine exceeded 4k RPM, as soon as I let off the gas, the noise went away. no engine lights or hesitation either.
just curious before I make an offer on the car is this a normal noise or perhaps a boost/vacuum leak or trans issue?
through work I can buy a 4 year unlimited mile bumper to bumper warranty for 2500 so if a fix is needed it'll be covered but wanted your input. thanks!

I had leaks on intercooler to the size that would trigger CEL, but no noise.
What makes them easy to spot are oil stains around.
