U42 code ?
Hello and how are you all. Can somebody tell me how to find out if my sedan has the U42 code? I have a 2011 E350 blutec sedan . I am looking to replace the pcv valve. It has been listed under 2 different names , one is secondary air control valve and the other is a bleeder valve. P/N 642-010-23-91 My local dealer doesn't know what a u42 code is and is the most expensive. They (local dealer) wanted $188.80 and didn't have it in stock. MynewBenzparts.com has it for $122.85
One other thing, my engine is getting a little filthy, how would you suggest washing it down? There are many electronic connectors I don't want to short anything out.
Thanks, E350cruiser

I would not order part from the supplier who doesn't guarantee match using your VIN.
Electronics on the engine are well protected.
Have been washing engines with plain water for decades. Avoid spraying into plugs holes, but other than that, don't worry.
