Lug Nuts on 98 e300td

Question at hand are the lug nuts on this year 98 e300td a standard removal process had tires put on the rear and they busted one stud on each side.
seems kinda crazy that all will come off except for one on both tires.
Curios if they are all righty tighty or lefty loosey i do remember an old dodge my dad had all lug nuts front and rear were reverse thread.
I am having an issue with one lug nut on drivers wheel not wanting to move at all, but i have removed all others i have not attempted
to remove other side wheel yet. I am wondering if the one that does not move could possibly be a reverse thread.

They suppose to be torqued to 80 ft-lb, while lot of wheel monkeys put impacts with 250 on them.
Most of lug bolts can take the abuse as they are overbuild, but W210 is using extended bolts with stainless steel heads for cosmetics and the extensions make weak point.
Use cross wrench on them to avoid bending forces and try to match thick-walled socket that will not have big play in the hole.
Your topic is not diesel related.

All the threads are rigfhty tighty. Over torque is a problem, but the hub rusting in areas of salt on the road can also lock the threads. Once the lug is broken, assuming the bell is still holding the wheel on, drilling is normally mentioned as the way to remove the wheel. If you look at a lug you will see that drilling through the bell with enough diameter, will release the bell. Start with a small bit and move up in size, and be sure not to break off the bit.
