85 190D 2.3
Hello everyone, I have a 190D 2.3 that was dropped off for no start. Turns out to be G plugs so I have replaced them. The guy has had the car to a couple of other "mechanics" and they have had it apart for who knows what reason. Anyway the intake manifold gasket is not much good, pieces missing. First question is I cant seem to find one so could I use an RTV in place of the gasket? Second question it the plastic tube/hose that runs along the top of the intake connecting to the PC valve is also in poor shape. I have no idea where to get one or even what it might be called to search for it. Does anyone have the part number, name or good ideas on how to make one? Any help would be much appreciated.
