Hey. I'm recently divorced and unemployed due to virus and lost my company truck so my neighbor sold me a 1987 190D and it's got a few bumbs and bruises but runs and drives awesome. Do you all think it's possible to keep it going in this day and age. I've driven old stuff as a young man but not as a middle aged divorcee. I'm going to change the fluids in it and go from there. I drove it back an hour and a half from his farm where it was kept.

Don't you know MB diesels run forever????
I would stock on filters as even MB supplies parts for long time, it might start getting harder.
I think the weakest part would be transmission, but that should last as well.
Enjoy new drive.
