Multiple emission codes
Hello and how are you. I have been having multiple emission codes on my 2011 e350 W212. So, I was under the car this weekend, removed the DEF injection nozzle. Wasnt clogged, but did have plenty of residue. I couldnt get the nox sensor out (lower) on the DPF . Not even with a 1/2" breaker bar . And I dont have a torch at the house either.
So as i was doing my checks for an exhaust leak, I decided to pull the y pipe off for the intake to the Turbo. Alot of oil came out of the y pipe, so I started the car and It seemed alot of oil in the vapor from the PCV valve . ( crank case vent valve) I replaced this valve about a year ago so it seemed to be letting too much oil into the intake. I had a can of Liquimoly diesel intake decarb in the garage. I sprayed the can into the turbo with the engine running. I have not had my CEL light come on since using the Liquimoly. I guessing that the intake is so loaded with oil that the nox sensors may have been contaminated . Anybody else expierance this?
Thanks, E350cruiser
