I now have some kind of wire assembly hanging below the chassis, ready to snag on the first piece of debris I hit. Vehicle is a 2014 GL350 X166.
What is this harness, and where is it supposed to be? I had the approved emissions modification installed. If this harness gets ripped off I am sure my vehicle will be disabled.
I'm very angry at my dealer for allowing this out of the shop like this as now I'm going to need a second service appointment.
TYPICAL.
I had AEM done on 3 vehicles and on
1st, Sprinter who had only NOX sensor replaced, the sensor was only finger-tight and the module was hanging loose on nuts
2nd Sprinter had NOX tighten up, but the wire was rubbing against sharp edge of heat shield.
3rd E250 sedan, who had most of the exhaust replaced seem to be done well,
You can go back to the dealer and have them install a holding clip, or
You want it done right.......
