AEM and the Autel MaxiAP AP200
So, I recently (finally) got my hands on an Autel AP200. I'm having a problem getting it to connect to the ECU (2014 GLK250). First it gives a message saying it can't identify the ECU, and gives a list of choices. My ECU is labeled "CR42" (or something similar). When I choose that one it spins for a while then says it can't connect. It lists a couple of things to try, one of which is to verify the version of ECU, which I did.
Does anyone know if the reprogramming from the AME interacts with the ability of the MaxiAP to connect? The car runs fine, and the other functions of the MaxiAP I've tried seem to work just fine.
TIA,
John

Do you have GLK subscription for Autel ?
I have HT200, what is the same scanner and using it on Sprinter (different software) could not read much before AEM. Now after AEM, the gauge reads all I need.

It appears I have the version where I get one manufacturer, "Benz" (not "Benz-Sprinter"). I haven't spent a lot of time trying it out, but I can access the transmission and the AdBlue system, but not the ECU.
I'm hoping I will also be able to use it on the GLS without paying extra.
I'll get some screen shots later.
