OM642 2013 GL350 ProVent 200 install




I am draining about about 3-5 ounces per 1,500 miles. That oil is not going back into the intake which keeps the EGR soot from sticking to everything and building up and blocking up the ports, swirl flaps etc…. When I replaced the oil cooler seals the soot was dry in the intake and my mechanic (30 plus years at a dealership) said the buildup was dry instead of gooey like he normally sees and thinks that there would be much less buildup in the system.
