2006 E320 CDi-loose automatic transmission at 30mph.
I loose my automatic transmission at 30mph, at 25 mph it shifted back in hard, at 28 mph it upshift hard, than down shift hard, ESP light flashed once, used my iCarsoft MBII, used diag system,( no transmission menu) this is the only item displayed: DTC 22280-000, Transmission Control DTC Status--- Current and Stored. The transmission fluid & filter was changed at 98879 m and now the problem started at 103665. m. I think is valve body and your support will be appreciated

It's been a while since I had the 5 spd (722.6 automatic) but if I recall correctly, the seal on the transmission wire harness plug allows trany oil to travel via the harness upto the ecu and it floods it causing a short. So remove the module and clean it with appropriate cleaner. That is if the module is external as my old w210 was ...

The $15 pilot bushing is responsible for over 90% of troubles with those transmission.
Why not start with cheap and easy solution?
Bad wheel speed sensor would trigger CEL.
