Just a warning about the lower water connection on the OM642. Part is cheap, $20 something from the dealer. SUV has 240k miles on it & 11 years. Started as a small leak then turned into a waterfall QUICKLY. Could have easily taken out the engine had a non observant person been driving. Plus, they use an o-ring that doesn’t like hydrocarbons (oil).
