GL350 OM642 Fuel Filter to High Pressure Pump Hose Question

Hello Everyone,

The car in question is a 2015 GL350 with approximately 175,000 kms on the odomoter. The MB recall has been done on the car as well.

I have no idea how but somehow I developed a puncture in the hose going from the fuel filter to the high pressure fuel pump. I thought it would be a pretty straighforward job but I've run into a sall issue. According to my VIN, this is the hose that I need. Yet the hose that I pulled off the car is like this one (without the sensor).

I assuming I should just go with the sensorless hose since that was what was on the car. Even if I did get the one with the sensor I wouldn't have anything to plug into it. Maybe the recall is when the hoses were swapped out?

Next question is this, will the above sensorless hose the fit? I assume there isn't much of a difference between the X164 and X166 (other than the sensor it seems) in terms of routing so the length and kinks should match up right?

Oh, I also snapped the *****ty plastic T on the return line so I'll be ordering the entire harness as well to resolve that problem.

TIA!

Martin

Nevermind. Id10t issue. My hose does indeed have the sensor, it's just that I removed the paet of the hose before the sensor and left the rest attached onto the car.
