ML250 P245B Fault- EGR Cooler BypassControl Circuit Range/Performance
Hi, my ML250 has the check engine light on. My reader says P245B EGR Cooler Bypass Control Circuit Range/ Performance. Acknowledged the code and it came back with 20 miles or so.
Any idea on how to fix? How long will it run like this or does it go into limp mode at some point in time? Anything that needs to be cleaned or serviced?
Thanks for any advice. Love the car! Don't love all the problems with the DEF and emissions.

stopped at my MB dealer and this car is still under the emissions warranty to 125K miles so will be going in for repair. Not 100% sure the repair is covered by the emissions warranty.

Vacuum cell on EGR shut off is bad....$105 part and 6 hours labor. Ouch. $1500 plus tax. No covered under warranty. And he tells me to pick up the car in 3 hours....how is that possible I asked? That is the book hours and we can do it in 3 hours.
