Persistent Implausible Exhaust Temperature Code
Vehicle in question: 2015 ML250 (OM651)
I have a recurring code for implausible exhaust temperature, multiple sensor correlation (P24C2). I can clear it and it will return in a couple of days, eventually resulting in a CEL. I’ve removed all 4 EGT sensors and verified resistance and response to various temperatures. I’ve also logged all 4 sensors with my Foxwell scanner at cold start and a variety of load conditions and they seem logistically consistent. The Adblue system was deleted by a previous owner, but the DPF/DOC is intact and regenerating as designed.
Any ideas are welcome!
