I've got a coolant leak on the passenger side front of the 3.5 blue tec diesel engine. 2015 GL.
It's a pretty big trickle while idling. Im currently out of town visiting family. 150 miles from home and any MB shops. I'm going to let it cool down and try and get some pictures in the morning. Preliminary inspection didn't see it coming from a hose.
Any input would be appreciated.
Found the source of the leak.
It's the lower hose manifilold. After removing the skid plates which are 8mm torx bolts and removing the 2 hoses. 3 8mmm bolts hold the housing. It had a small piece of the plastic broken that holds the quad ring it place. We fabricated a metal piece to hold the seal in place for a temporary fix. Seems to be holding pressure for the drive home.
Here's the part # A6422001156. A $30 part I'm going to keep as a backup part.
