how do youmake your ipod charge with the cable
I have heard that most ipods don't charge with the interface but there is a fix to the problem. Anybody know the fix

The interesting thing that I found is even though the iPhone doesn't indicate that the battery is charging, it must be. I've had mine plugged in to my car for 2 months now and have never charged it outside of the car.

Yes, that's true. If you have the iPhone 2 or lower then the cable works fine. I have the iPhone 3G which is not supposed to work with the standard cable but it seems to charge fine.
Just doesn't indicate that it is actually charging.
