within the menu system their is an option to change speedo from Kmh to Mph however when your not in the trip menu and say on the audio menu within your speedo the bottom reading is always in Kmh.
does anyone know if this can also be changed into Mph?

I believe you are talking about the "Permanent Display" segment in the Multifunction Display. It displays either the outside temperature or additional speedometer depending on what you set. Unfortunately it shows only "km/h" for USA model, and "miles" for Canada, since it's "additional" I guess.
Now you got my attention and I am wondering is there a way to change the outside temperature from Fahrenheit to Centigrade. I just dug through the manual and there doesn't seem to be any. Hard to believe there isn't one for they have thought about the "additional" speedometer in different unit and leave the temperature unit unchangable. It's just a little switch away on the dash in my 15 years old SAAB. The new generations must be smarter than us old dogs doing the conversions in their heads.

Hi, here in Australia where we are metric (KPH) and Degrees C, the "Permanent Display" segment in the Multifunction Display is set to MPH and cannot be changed.
It seems the default setting for the selectable permanent display is opposite to that of the country's legal requirement or the analogue speedometer. My temp is also in centigrade and cannot be changed.
I would really like to set the permanent display in KPH and cannot understand why MB do not make this selectable.
