Left this morning to buy an S5 Coupe and came home with an E550 Coupe....

the only thing I liked better about the S5 was the AWD and the seating position (low, on the floor was possible); I'm tall and headroom in the Benz is tight

this still a fabulous car. needed to move a 52" Sharp LCD over to the new house to be ready for the VZ techs to install FiOS today and I was able to put it in the Merc. Who'd a thunk a coupe would be so useful? The rear windows give access like a sedan (which my 3yo daughter loves) and the folding seats have come in handy several times. The TV, a set of 20" Rays wheels for my wife's FX35....impressive.

great choice
i was trying to decide between the two and also went with the merc. great choice. i have 27k miles now ('10) and my only advice is don't put any really soft Z rated tires on the rear, they'll be gone in 8k miles. of course, i drive like a maniac! 
i just wish the traction control (even if the off position) didn't interfere. i like to throw the car sideways as much as possible. the only audi anyone should buy is the A8 or the S4. the rest are rubbish.

cleaned up pic with the C63 wheels on (Conti DWS). Still waiting for replacement wheels for the AMG VI I sold in May. I've had a set of BBS CH-R on order for quite some time now.

Titanium Matte Grey. 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear. I'd have to check the offsets...they're the new C63 fitment. ET40 in front and not sure about the rear (ET45 if memory serves)
