holddd on hold onnnnnnnnnn im lostt...you payeddd 160,000 for the E cab and its a 250 that dosent have automatic seats?? im a seriously missing something i payed 60k for my e550 coupe with p2/ sports pkg/ diamond white/ and i was thinking i payed too much...

Oh man, ur not missing anything. Import tax here in Thailand is 300% so whatever u paid overthere , multiply that by 3....... Voilà! That's how much we pay overhere, n get this, there's no leasing either. Either, finance it, pay in cash or walk. My lotus exige s that just sold prior to the E250 , I paid almost $200k .....that's why I said that my E is almost full option n I'm happy with her. If u wanna have some fun goto www.one2car.com use the traslate page, look up our car, check the price and divide that with 31 , that's how much it is in dollars :-)

Finally got it all done....i was quite surprised with the Eibach spring cuz the rear sat so low, but we got 4 people in the cab, and pop the top....wham! no rubbing issue at all......so im quite happy with her. btw, it's Brabus block 6 custom paint - matte black, n glossy black. 19" Nitto

yes i heard abt it that UK dont have this feature. Is there any particularly reason? I m really curious!!! The locals here love this feature but if you purchase from parallel importers this feature is not available. In asia, parallel importers ordered cars mainly from UK. Hope you can share with us the real reason in Uk why this feature not available? Is it due to Cost, Safety etc.

I could be wrong but I remember that the UK has some of the toughest anti theft regulations in the world and this may have something to do with it. Although the keyless is secure you can still drive the vehicle without the remote once it has been started with the remote being inside the vehicle. It could be that the UK has yet to accept the idea of remote of keyless start as being secure.

what i dont get tho is why can you order keyless start on most of the other mercedes models
sclass, sl class, cl class etc
bmw have keyless option on all of their vehicles.
i assumed keyless go was meant to be a prevention if somebody hijacks your car so if they drive off they are stuck when engine shuts down.

Today I will try this on my e350 to see what happens.
As for the original question if it is not a UK standard then I can see any reason why the e series does not have this feature.

Hi the setup solely for charging my iPhone. Just to share, I m using e rear cig jacket for charging. The Iphone connector cable goes into e armrest where u can find a slot for insert yr cable & comes out through the rear air con blower.
Yr iPod in the glove box is not an issue rite? Does yr ride comes with media interface? If yes selecting choice of song using e dial & steering button is a breeze.

I see, i m sure its can be done by extending the media interface cable from the glove box to the position where you wanted. The question is, is there such a cable at least 2 m long. Btw does yr ride comes with Bluetooth feature too?

We in the UK cannot have Keyless Go because of the deadlocks insisted upon by our government car security watchdog. This is disappointing since Mercedes pioneered this idea and most other manufacturers (curiously, even Mercedes on other models!?!) seem to be able to fit a keyless system that also satisfies the government.
