what i dont get tho is why can you order keyless start on most of the other mercedes models
sclass, sl class, cl class etc
bmw have keyless option on all of their vehicles.
i assumed keyless go was meant to be a prevention if somebody hijacks your car so if they drive off they are stuck when engine shuts down.

Today I will try this on my e350 to see what happens.
As for the original question if it is not a UK standard then I can see any reason why the e series does not have this feature.

Yr iPod in the glove box is not an issue rite? Does yr ride comes with media interface? If yes selecting choice of song using e dial & steering button is a breeze.

We in the UK cannot have Keyless Go because of the deadlocks insisted upon by our government car security watchdog. This is disappointing since Mercedes pioneered this idea and most other manufacturers (curiously, even Mercedes on other models!?!) seem to be able to fit a keyless system that also satisfies the government.
