Is the twin turbo v-8 going to be offered
I see that MB is putting the twin turbo v-8 as a replacement for the 5.5 litre in a few of models (CL for instance). Any word non when this goes in the E-class coupe?

I was wonderimg the same thing. The new TT motor in the CL is putting out 516 LB FT of torque (same as the last E55) and apparently in the E, CLS etc it will be 443 starting @1600rpms, which is a very nice bump over the current NA motor. I'd imagine this new motor will be very easy to tune via software flashes etc since its now forced induction. Can you imagine a E coupe with an ECU from the CL...the car would be a rocket.

The New V8 engine will have a 4.7 L + twin turbo which will produce 402 Horse pwr it will be added to the E class starting from the 2012 models and it will be introduced on the new CL
