What do you guys think of this grill attached below? I have a black 2011 E350 coupe and I'm between either this grill or painting the "silver" parts of the stock one black and leaving the chrome housing to match the window trim and molding on the doors. Which do you think would look better?

i want to paint the silver parts,too.i think it will look better.the grill you showed tous i don't think is proper for the e coupe.my opinion.i will paint in black mine in january and i will post some pictures.

Ok I like the aftermarket one because it has the black "waffle comb" look to match the lower grille by the fog lights. Gives it an AMG style appearance.

I'm on the fence which way to go though.

I was contemplating painting mine black too and leaving the chrome trim and the symbol, i think itll look good

Am thinking of painting the Silver lines of the Grill into Black, i think the car then will be much sportier but it will lose it elegance look

Stage, Australia already fitted it, it was not an exact fit.

he also bought the 3 fin diffuser and big spoiler and 3/4 rear side spoilers from me, can't wait till he fits it and will post the photos up pronto!!!!

IMO, since stock grill is mostly chrome with silver fins, it looks "right" only on silver and the like colors. For a black or a white car, I would definetely paint silver fins to black gloss.

Silver fins actually match the inside of the headlights so it goes very well, even on a black car like mine. I'm still considering changing the grill though or painting those black just to give it a little different look.

i live on HK island, we have some real crap surfaces on the roads, i had lowered my BMW 5 series with Bilstein front 40 and rear 35mm and used H&R springs, u couldn't even fit a finger between the wheels and the arches, but the ride was terrible,and the
side effects were changing the worn control arms and thrust rods, because the bushes had worn thru!!!
I promised myself never to lower for my MB, BUT some friends with Porsches etc,. have said KW v3 and Bilstein pss10 keep a good ride....
that said the E coupe when lowered looks awesome!!!!!!!!!

actually i like the oem look, it makes the front bigger, but only coloured mine because it looks so much like a normal C class grille.
i have bought another grille and am making it matt and gloss black, possibly cover in carbon and will install it in Feb with my new front spoiler
