It does. Just a bit more sporty. I'm very surprised that they would release a C-coupe along side a C-based E-coupe.

What a drag, wish I would have known they were going to do this, I would have bought the C and saved a ton of cash. I read the interior is identical to the E coupe as well.

I kind of agree, except I think they will not put 5.5 liter engine in a C coupe. So mainly because of these, I would still stay with E550 coupe. Having said that, if they do put 3.5 liter engine in the C coupe (in addition to a 3 liter one), then it will kill any future E350 coupe sales (so it makes sence for them to put only less rated engine than what's in E350 coupe at the time).

The Younger brother for our Car =) .. it looks amazing but am wondering about the price and with the current 3.5 L V6 engine i don't think the 3 series will threatened at all

It's not identical..not even that close really aside from the seats.

The C coupe will be slightly smaller, sportier, come with far less standard (ie pano-roof will likely be optional), and will likely sell far more in turbo4 C250 form.

I think you'll find that the C350 coupe optioned heavily will be nearly the price of an E350 coupe.

If I just bought an E, I'd be more pissed that the '12 E350 will have 300+ hp.

Actually, C-Class Coupe will be available in AMG version: C63 AMG. And amazingly enough it will still use older naturally aspirated 6.3L V8.
