C Coupe has a bigger V-6
I was just on the MB website looking at the C Coupe. The C350 is rated a 302HP and the E350 (both coupes) is rated at 268HP. That doesnt make much sense. How would you like to buy an E350 and have its little brother blow your doors off. I know you can get an E550, but what gives here??

No, I'm sure that MB will not offer a tweak. The engine will appear in the 2012 model year. The only avenue for we 2010, 2011 owners would be a chip tune.

If you want the bigger Hp, I would make a stink about it. I don't imagine that they told you about the increase in the 2112 model did they? Cancel the order and Perhaps let them hold your deposit to show good faith that you would take the 2112 car.

If i'm not mistaken I believe around September. I feel it would be a worth while wait. The current 268hp performs very well especially in sports mode but you can never be too rich or have too much horsepower.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I am sure no one will buy a 268 E Coupe when they can get 305 in the C coupe or the 2012 E coupe, expect big discounts.
And when I say big I am talking HUGE discounts. I am talking 2011 E coupes selling for the same price as the C coupe.

It's only a 34 HP difference; hardly enough to make the car with the old engine undesirable or worth substantially less. I don't think they'll discount the late 2011's substantially. I'd say stay with the order and enjoy the car for the additional 7 months. I doubt it will hurt your resale.
Did you consider the current 550?
