Have you got your grill yet? You seem to find everything that is released for the E-Coupe/Cabrio! Thanks for sharing your info though
Few more pics of my car as taken today with the new grill fitted next to the GL..

I ordered the 55Tech grill last week and it showed up yesterday. Of course I had to drop everything and go install it.
Installation was pretty easy except for the section that attaches to the hood. There is a felt gasket that needs to be trimmed to get the best fit. I'm still not entirely happy with the fit but I plan on tweaking it this weekend.
I'll post more pics next week after I have it detailed...

I really like the look with the black grill. The matte finish matches the rest of the front end mesh areas very well.
My first choice was a carbon fiber wrap but I couldn't find anything that was easy to aquire and trying to DIY carbon fiber is a bit outside of my skill set.
I pick the car up from the detailer tonight (two full coats of Zymol) so I'll post some pictures later...assuming it doesn't rain again.

Thanks, I'd originally ordered it in Obsidian Black but changed my mind at the last minute and got the color changed to Calcite White, glad I changed but it's so difficult to keep clean!

The Revozport carbon fiber was my first choice but I couldn't find anyone that actually sold it. The 55Tech part on the other hand was simple and painless. Now if someone were to make the Revozport stuff easy to buy I might change my mind...

Tough decision. White is indeed easier to maintain and the car's constrasting black roof and trim really stand out against it. But black is...well...just BAAAAAD looking on this design.
One quibble: I say it's time for another revolt against the tyranny of Nottingham authority! That outdated front license plate requirement is abysmal plastered onto such a sexy front end. Perhaps Robin Hood and the gang could be coaxed out of retirement to lead the fight against it.
On second thought, he'd probably just steal your Benz and give it to the poor. Never mind.
Best of luck with your new wheels.

Can you not choose red leather as part of a designo interior color?

Thanks! It's tragic that we have to have numberplates on the front end here, what's worse is that when I take the plates off when it gets cleaned there are three holes in the bumper for where the numberplate holder sits!!

Too bad Mercedes and other upscale manufacturers can't supply a similar arrangement for their models sold in areas where front plates are required, although it would of course still alter the front end appearance somewhat.
Excellent point about the designo option. I will ask the dealer. He does not have much hard info on the 2012's yet though. Says it'll be another month.
One hopeful sign, the new U.S. 2012 C coupe is expected to have red leather as an option. Perhaps they'll offer it on the 2012 U.S. E coupe/cab as a basic or designo option.

I would have thought that if you tell the dealership the color code (interior option code 257) for flamenco red leather option they should be able to ask MB USA to see if they can spec it in Germany as a one-off, all the cars are made on the same production line.
I had a query when having the Brabus upgrade done to my car, my dealership got in touch with MB UK then MB Germany who discussed it with Brabus then came to a resolution so the parts could be fitted, took a few extra weeks but was worth it.
couple more pics, just put some lamin-x on my sidelights..

Yeah the originals are going to be my winter wheels, but I'll be buying some concave 19s/20s next year HRE or something similar (Interad or 360 Forged).
And with regards to the "D6" it may not be to your taste no, but it's what Brabus decided on their branding towards tuned diesel cars.

Thanks! It's a protective film for your headlamps or tail lights...

Can choose your darkness/colour shade, just heat it up and stick it on in the same way that you would put a screen protector on an iPhone or something like that, squeeze any air bubbles out and thats it, smaller bubbles disappear anyway after a few days. It will reduce the light output on your main headlights which is why I haven't bothered putting it on them. I've got the dark smoke lamin-x on the sidelights, considered putting it on the DRLs but then thought it would look too much.

Thanks, I thought about having the standard grill painted black but then changed it to the single bar 55-tech one, if you look at most the other MB "sports" cars they all have single bar grills so the E-Coupe/Cabrio looks a bit out of place to me.
They're only Mandrus Millennium 19s - got offered a good deal so just went for them, I would have bought 20s but have heard there are issues with arch and suspension rubbing so need to modify there, plus most the tyres out there for what is an acceptable fitment tyre wise the tyres aren't actually the right load rating?
I'm waiting it out until next year before I go for 20s want to see experiences with it etc.

Another quick update, wrapped the interior trim (except for the central transmission trim - ran out of vinyl in with the pattern going the same way) in 3M DiNoc Carbon...

Available for the E Coupe, yes? I did see a picture of the new U.S. C Coupe with the new red interior. That's good news.
Just what I need, another difficult decision: white or black outside and red or black inside.
Dr-Nab: your car is stunning Sir, inside and out! And yes, your pictures are indeed excellent. Usually, this car looks much better in person than in marketing pix, but you have captured the "real" E coupe very well.
