2011 E350 Coupe Obsidian Black
One More day until my First Mercedes arrives at the dealership for pick up. I have been searching threads on Obsidian Black and with no luck, i went with my instincts and purchased one without seeing in person. Hope its well worth it. Was supposed to arrive today and the dealer was going to pick me up, but got a call earlier today saying the truck broke down in the mountains and the car wont be delivered until 11am tomorrow. I cant wait...Will put up picz once i pick it up so maybe others out there wondering on how the color looks will get a chance to see real picz of the 2011 e350c. BTW i got the Obsidian Black with Black Leather with Special order Black Ash wood trim, P2, Apperance, Rear Spoiler...

ok so i picked up my e350 and you are right!! i love it and couldn't be happier. here are some low quality picz from my iphone.. i have to go out of town tomorrow so i will take better picz when i get back. So as many were talkn on other threads, yes the new 2011 build dates do not have the hockey stick led lights anymore. i asked my salesman who is the person in charge of ordering vehicles besides the GM and he states the 2012 will not have the new engine. the engine will be the same with a ecu tune up to add additional HP. He says the C class will have the new engine since they whole body and everything is changing... Since the E recently had a make over, he says the new engine will be available once the E goes through another change on the exterior. Oh Well im happy with my car... i couldnt tell it was Obsidian until i got up and close to it. it was not bright outside so couldnt see the sparkle, see what happens in the morning when the sun is out nice and bright.

Weird...my March built 2011 E350 Cabrio has the hockey sticks! 
And what's that weird chrome trim on the bumper? I've never seen that before. Do you have the AMG package?

It appears his car also has the AMG rims from the cab which IMHO are a much better looking and more aggressive rim.
